IRISES AND LILLIES BY LOI HATHAWAY
Loi Hathaway’s career as a highly respected artist, illustrator and designer spanned well over 3 decades. Her paintings are included in many private and corporate collections and have been exhibited in galleries across Canada, the United States and as far away as China. Well known for her floral watercolours, in the late 1970s, Loi began a long collaboration as “artist in residence” with the well-known Toronto restaurant Fentons. Loi was a Charter Women member of the Arts & Letters Club of Toronto, where she was very active until her passing in 2005.

After graduating from college in Japan, he went to France to continue studying Fine Arts at “Les Beaux Arts’’ in Lyon and Mulhouse. His etchings have been featured in various group exhibitions in the United States and abroad.

Ori Reisman (1924-1991) of Kibbutz Kabri in Western Galilee received his specialized training at the Academy of Beaux Arts in Paris in the 1950s. Skirting an abbreviated lyrical abstract, his colorist paintings depicted landscapes and figures, fusing nature and sensuality. “Lydia" edition 202, 41.3” x 29.5”, signed and numbered lithograph.
